New roads built by the Israeli army are evident in satellite images of Gaza. The Netzarim Corridor, a strategic route for troop and equipment transport, has been constructed south of Gaza City. The construction is visible in images that show destruction around the new road where all buildings have been cleared.

The Israeli army has destroyed large areas on the banks of Khan Junis in Gaza, as shown in satellite images obtained by HS and analyzed by UN Unosat. Around 35 percent of buildings in various areas of Gaza were classified as destroyed, with many Palestinians returning to the area describing the devastation as huge. Whole blocks have been razed to the ground, leaving nothing for them to return to.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced plans to attack Rafah in southern Gaza, indicating a new phase in the conflict. The war continues to evolve, with Israel intending to stay mainly outside the borders of Gaza and conduct quick attacks. The situation remains tense, with continued destruction and displacement of the population.
