Following the Hamas and Islamic Jihad’s willingness to reach a positive agreement on a ceasefire, reports indicate that they presented their response to mediators from Qatar and Egypt. In Jenin, at least three people were reported killed during an Israeli military operation on Tuesday. A special unit of the Israeli army carried out a raid in Kafr Dan, north of Jenin, where armed Palestinians opened fire on them. The troops responded with force and were supported by a combat helicopter during the battle. According to Israeli media, members of an undercover special unit entered the town to make an arrest.
