Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna is reportedly eyeing Cardiff City midfielder Rubin Colwill as a potential target for his squad, according to journalist Darren Witcoop. While Colwill has generated interest from other Premier League clubs, it is believed that he will remain with Cardiff for the time being.

As Ipswich prepares to take on the challenges of life in the Premier League, McKenna is actively searching for players to strengthen his team’s roster. Colwill, who played 36 games in the Championship last season and scored a goal against Bristol City, stands out as one of McKenna’s top priorities.

Despite interest from other clubs, Colwill is expected to continue playing for Cardiff at least in the short term. The 22-year-old midfielder has also represented Wales at the international level and has a bright future ahead of him.

Colwill’s performance against Ipswich last season caught McKenna’s attention and he will be keen to bring him onto his team. Cardiff will be determined to hold onto their valuable asset and ensure that they have the best possible chance of success in the Premier League.
