Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City in Sanya, China has recently been designated as a National Offshore Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Professionals, highlighting its role as a hub for international talent innovation and entrepreneurship. Since its establishment in 2019, the City has supported both domestic and overseas talents, with a focus on key industries like the seed industry, deep-sea science and technology, life sciences, and the digital economy.

To better serve their growing international community, the City created a team of Service Specialists known as “Cheng Xiaoer”, who assist talents and enterprises. Charlotte from Belgium is the first international Cheng Xiaoer to have been working in the City for three years, primarily supporting international enterprise services and investment opportunities.

With a strong emphasis on collaboration and support for international talents, the City established an international talent workstation and the “ITCC International Talent Community”. This has attracted 324 international talents who actively engage in exchanging experiences and knowledge, creating a vibrant community in Hainan that appeals to more high-quality human resources worldwide.
