Genoa goalkeeper Josep Martinez is on the verge of joining Inter, with the Serie A champions close to securing a deal for him. According to reports from Sky Italia, negotiations between the two clubs have been ongoing and progress has been made towards an agreement. It’s likely that Martinez will be joining Inter this summer.

The deal is expected to be finalized soon, with Genoa asking for €18 million for the goalkeeper but Inter offering €13 million plus an additional €2 million. There are also rumors that additional players could be involved in the transfer, with Martin Satriano being one potential option.

In anticipation of Martinez’s departure, Genoa is already scouting for potential replacements. Real Oviedo’s Roman and Zion Suzuki of Saint-Truidense are both being considered as options for the club. The transfer market is heating up as teams prepare for the new season and Inter is looking forward to strengthening their squad with new players like Martinez.
