Insurance policies have long been considered a reliable way to save for unexpected expenses. However, with the increasing frequency of extreme weather events and technological risks, insurance companies are recognizing the need to proactively prevent losses rather than just mitigate them. In response to these evolving risks, insurers worldwide are adapting their business models to address them.

To identify which insurance companies are leading the way in making these changes and adapting to global risks, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista for the second consecutive year. They surveyed over 45,000 individuals from 15 countries who have held insurance policies for their home, car, or life in the past three years. Respondents were asked about their satisfaction with their insurer, if they would recommend it to others, and to rate it on various criteria including customer service, pricing, transparency, and handling of claims. The results were analyzed, and the top 300 companies with the highest scores were included in the final lists.

Forbes has announced that they will be releasing their list of The World’s Best Insurance Companies 2024 on June 11th. This list will include separate categories for homeowners’, auto’, and life insurance providers. As with all Forbes lists
