The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) has announced that applications are now open for the “Pitch Battle” competition at the 2024 Innovation, Opportunity & Investment (iOi) Summit in Chicago, Illinois. This event, presented by NAR’s venture capital arm Second Century Ventures, offers real estate startups the opportunity to showcase their innovative solutions to investors, real estate professionals, and technology enthusiasts.
NAR is dedicated to fostering innovation in the real estate industry and views the Pitch Battle competition as a way for startups to gain exposure and feedback from key figures in the industry. Companies participating in the competition will have the chance to present a four-minute live pitch followed by a rapid-fire question-and-answer session with a panel of judges. Contestants must outline how their tech solution or service works and how it can benefit the real estate sector.
The winner of the Pitch Battle will receive $15,000, a booth at NAR’s annual conference (NAR NXT), a meeting with the SCV executive team, and a feature in an upcoming edition of REALTOR® Magazine. Additionally, all entries will be included in the iOi Pitchbook, which is shared with investors leading up to the event.
