On Saturday, the Indiana Pacers will not have Tyrese Haliburton on their roster for Game 3 against the Boston Celtics. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Haliburton is dealing with soreness in his left hamstring after leaving Game 2 in the third quarter. Despite scoring 10 points before exiting the game, Haliburton has been ruled out of Game 3 due to his health concerns.

The Pacers are currently trailing 2-0 in the series, with Game 3 set to take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse tonight. The team will evaluate Haliburton’s condition ahead of Game 4 to determine his availability for Monday. Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle mentioned that Haliburton’s hamstring was sore at halftime and despite trying to play through it, he ultimately had to be taken out for further evaluation.

Carlisle also noted that Haliburton had suffered a chest injury during a collision with Jaylen Brown of the Celtics. This hamstring injury is not new for Haliburton, as it dates back to January when he sustained a Grade 1 strain against the Celtics.

The Pacers are determined to bounce back in the series and have made it clear that Haliburton’s health will take precedence over any other concerns. With him out of action for Game 3, they will need to rely on their other players and strategies to keep up with the dominant Celtics.
