Jomboy Media, an indie sports media brand, has teamed up with regional sports network Bally Sports to broadcast its “Warehouse Games” franchise. This marks the first time that the games will be featured on a mainstream linear platform. The partnership includes coverage of all Warehouse Games matchups involving Jomboy Media personalities and special guests like broadcaster Chris Rose, former MLB player Trevor Plouffe, and cricket legend Daren Sammy.

Two years ago, Jomboy Media purchased a warehouse and set out to create something unique: high-production sports leagues with a backyard BBQ vibe. Jimmy “Jomboy” O’Brien, the founder of Jomboy Media, expressed excitement about bringing the friendly competition and banter of pick-up games to a TV-quality level. The company invested in developing new games, franchises, personalities, and league formats. Their hard work and the loyalty of their community have paved the way for this significant milestone.

The partnership with Bally Sports extends to coverage of all Warehouse Games matchups involving Jomboy Media personalities and special guests in two competition formats (Franchise Series and Captains League). Additionally, the deal includes MLB player and manager interviews from the “Chris Rose Rotation,” the baseball trivia game “RefGuess,” and video-essay deep dives from Jolly Olive, which will be available on Bally Sports+, the direct-to-consumer platform within the Bally Sports app.

Jomboy Media’s COO, Courtney Hirsch, views the partnership with Bally Sports as a fantastic opportunity to introduce Warehouse Games to a broader audience. She highlighted the expertise of Jomboy Media creators in developing engaging formats that resonate with sports fans across various platforms. The collaboration with Bally Sports signifies the recognition of Warehouse Games as compelling programming for linear TV, paving the way for an expanded fan base.
