In 2024, three Indian restaurants have achieved top rankings on the World’s 100 Best Restaurants list. Masque, a fine dining establishment in Mumbai, secured the #78 spot and was named the Best Restaurant in India. Meanwhile, Indian Accent in New Delhi was ranked at #89. Both restaurants are new entries to the list for this year and also excelled in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list.
Indian Chef Gaggan Anand’s restaurant in Bangkok continued to impress, climbing to the ninth position in the World’s 100 Best Restaurants list. This marked their second consecutive year on the list, moving up from their #17 spot in 2023. Gaggan was also named the Best Restaurant in Asia.
Chef Himanshu Saini’s Indian-cuisine restaurant, Trèsind Studio in Dubai, maintained its presence on the list at #13. While they dropped from their #11 rank in 2023, they retained the title of the Best Restaurant in the Middle East.
