As the victorious Indian cricket team, led by captain Rohit Sharma, prepares to depart from Barbados, they are excited to return home and celebrate their World Cup win. For the first time in history, Rohit has invited fans to join a victory parade at Marine Drive and Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The parade is scheduled for July 4th starting at 5:00 pm, and all supporters are welcome to join in the festivities.

BCCI secretary Jay Shah has also extended an invitation to fans to come out and honor the victorious team. The delayed departure of the India team was due to a hurricane that hit the West Indies, but they have finally boarded a special charter flight named AIC24WC to head back home. The flight is expected to land in New Delhi on Thursday at around 6:20 am.

The Indian journalists who were stranded in Barbados due to the hurricane are also returning on the same flight with BCCI president and secretary. The team will be greeted upon their arrival in Delhi by Prime Minister Narendra Modi before heading over to Mumbai for a celebratory ceremony. This journey has been made possible after the players were unable to leave their hotel in Barbados for three days due to the hurricane.

Rohit expressed his desire to celebrate this historic win with all of India’s fans, who he said played a vital role in supporting them throughout their campaign. He hoped that this victory would inspire future generations of Indian cricketers and bring joy and happiness across the nation.

As India prepares for their triumphant return home, excitement is building among fans eagerly waiting for their chance to see their heroes up close. This special journey is not only about celebrating India’s World Cup victory but also about bringing together cricket lovers from all walks of life as they come together
