The Indian Cricket Council (ICC) arranged buses to transport fans from the station to Nassau County Ground, where they were greeted by enthusiastic Indian supporters who were eager to experience cricket entertainment in their adopted home. Abhay, a fan who had driven for hours from Boston, was determined to be part of this historic moment and show his love for the game.

Young and old, Indian fans painted in the tri-colour, made their way to the stadium, chanting “we will win” slogans. The atmosphere was festive as groups of friends and families treated it like a picnic, reminiscing about their experiences at iconic cricket grounds like Eden Gardens.
