Previous Reuters/Ipsos polls have shown a close race between Biden and Trump with some battleground states showing Trump in the lead in recent months.
The Reuters/Ipsos poll was conducted nationwide and online with responses from 1,019 U.S. adults and 856 registered voters. The margin of error was 3.2 percentage points for all respondents and 3.5 percentage points for registered voters
