On March 28 at 6:00pm PT/9:00pm ET, Apple Vision Pro users can immerse themselves in the action of the 2023 Major League Soccer Cup playoffs through a first-ever sports film captured in Apple Immersive Video. This new entertainment format, introduced by Apple, features 8K 3D video with a 180-degree field of view and Spatial Audio, exclusively available on Apple Vision Pro.
The short film, titled “2023 MLS Cup Highlights,” focuses on the defending champions, Columbus Crew, and LAFC players with narration from MLS Season Pass broadcasters Taylor Twellman and Jake Zivin. Viewers will be transported to the action of the match from unique perspectives such as high above each goal to celebratory scenes in the Columbus Crew’s locker room. The five-minute film can be accessed for free through the Apple TV app on Apple Vision Pro.
Fans can also enjoy MLS Season Pass through the Apple TV app on Apple Vision Pro, where they can watch games alongside other apps within an Environment setting that transforms their physical space to enhance their viewing experience.
