Illinois’ class of 2025 has a new target in cornerback Jahmare Washington, who is set to officially visit the program the weekend of June 7. This visit is part of a busy official visit weekend for the Badgers, their second this month. Washington is the eleventh 2025 target to schedule an official visit with the Badgers and will be joining JoJo Scott, Grant Dean, Remington Moss, and Eugene Hilton Jr. as the fifth player with experience at either wide receiver or defensive back in this recruiting cycle.

According to 247Sports, Washington is ranked as No. 81 recruit at his position for the class of 2025 and No. 22 recruit in Illinois. On3 lists him as a wide receiver, while Rivals considers him an athlete for his class. The Badgers offered the three-star recruit on February 4th. Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 170 pounds, Washington is a rising senior representing Morgan Park High School in Chicago, Illinois.

While Washington has received offers from several schools including Michigan State, UNLV, Western Michigan, Kansas State, Iowa State and Wyoming among others; he has yet to plan another official visit for this summer other than UW’s visit in June. While Rivals’ FutureCast predicts Washington will choose Illinois but On3’s recruiting prediction machine heavily favors UW to land the versatile playmaker.
