Itawamba Community College in Mississippi has received national recognition for its Business and Marketing Management Technology Program, being ranked sixth in the nation by Forbes Advisor. The program, under the direction of Jodi McCrimon, prepares students for careers in the sales and marketing workforce. Students in the program take courses in various areas of business, marketing, and management, as well as advertising and internet marketing. They also work on building a website, writing business and marketing plans, and participating in online class discussions and case studies.

ICC President Dr. Jay Allen emphasized the program’s benefits in helping students not only in their current jobs but also in pursuing their dream jobs. After completing the program, students have the option to further their education by working towards a bachelor’s degree online at universities in the region.

In addition to its Business and Marketing Management Technology Program, ICC has been recognized as one of the top 10 online community colleges in the nation by BestColleges.com. This recognition highlights the college’s commitment to providing quality online education to students across the country. The college’s fully online format makes it accessible to adult students who are unable to attend classes in person regularly which led to a significant increase enrollment over time.
