Hyundai Glovis Co. and EcoPro Co. have joined forces to enhance their technology and establish a global network for the electric vehicle recycling business. By signing a memorandum of understanding on business cooperation, the two companies aim to collaborate on recycling process automation and the development of a supply chain management system for used batteries.

“With this latest agreement with EcoPro, we will lead Korea’s used EV battery recycling business by optimizing the recycling operation system and establishing a smart recycling process,” said Lee Kyoo-bok, chief executive of Hyundai Glovis. This partnership is a significant step towards advancing the recycling industry, as well as promoting sustainability and environmental initiatives in the electric vehicle market. By working together, Hyundai Glovis Co. and EcoPro Co. hope to lead the way in creating a more efficient and responsible approach to EV battery recycling.
