Hyundai Glovis Co. and EcoPro Co. have joined forces to enhance their technology and establish a global network for the electric vehicle recycling business. By signing a memorandum of understanding on business cooperation, the two companies aim to collaborate on recycling process automation and the development of a supply chain management system for used batteries.
“With this latest agreement with EcoPro, we will lead Korea’s used EV battery recycling business by optimizing the recycling operation system and establishing a smart recycling process,” said Lee Kyoo-bok, chief executive of Hyundai Glovis. This partnership is a significant step towards advancing the recycling industry, as well as promoting sustainability and environmental initiatives in the electric vehicle market.
