Huddersfield Town has officially announced the signing of midfielder Herbie Kane on a three-year deal. The 25-year-old joins the club on a free transfer after leaving Barnsley at the end of his contract.

Kane previously played under Huddersfield’s former Barnsley boss Michael Duff during his time at Oakwell. The midfielder, who began his career at Liverpool, made 43 League One appearances for Barnsley last season, scoring nine goals. He expressed his excitement about joining Huddersfield Town, stating, “I couldn’t be happier to be joining Huddersfield Town at such an exciting time, and I’m really looking forward to the season ahead.”

Having had experience at a high level during his time at Liverpool and Barnsley, Kane brings valuable skills and expertise to the Huddersfield Town squad. He emphasized his focus on working hard alongside his new teammates in pre-season to ensure a great start to the season and maintain momentum in what he acknowledges as a tough division.
