House Wine, the iconic bar known for its pink door and 16 years of service on 408 Josephine St., has announced its plans to move. The bar posted on Instagram that it was time for a new chapter, citing the death of its landlord as the reason behind the search for a new storefront. While the exact location has not been revealed yet, Eater Austin reports that it will be at 1711 South First St. in Bouldin Creek by late June. House Wine recently celebrated its 16th anniversary and will host its final open mic night on May 27.

Meanwhile, Family Business Beer Co. has temporarily closed its Dripping Springs location as they look to establish a state-wide presence and sell their products in stores. The owners, including actor Jensen Ackles and his family members, are determined to find the right spot in Austin for their business to thrive. It is uncertain when the taproom will reopen, but the company remains committed to providing high-quality beer and excellent customer service to all of their customers.
