The Commanders suffered a disappointing 31-19 loss to the Giants on Sunday, but their troubles didn’t stop there. After the game, both locker rooms were left without hot water due to an equipment failure in the main water heater. The issue couldn’t be resolved during the game without completely shutting off the water to the stadium, leaving players in need of a shower.

This isn’t the first time there have been issues with pipes at FedEx Field, but this time it added insult to injury for the Commanders. With their season record now at 4-7, they will need to find some other way to rinse away the stink of defeat and get back on track.

The Commanders spokesperson confirmed reports of the issue and stated that it compounded a bad day for the home team. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our players and staff,” said the spokesperson. “We are working diligently to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.”
