Hope College men’s tennis team members Justin Fay, John Voss, and Austin Becksvoort have been honored for their academic achievements. The trio was selected for the 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men’s Tennis Teams by College Sports Communicators. This program recognizes men’s tennis Academic All-District® honorees in NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Fay, from Naperville, Illinois, played No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Flying Dutchmen this season. He had a 13-10 doubles record and a 6-15 singles record. Fay received All-MIAA First Team honors and the MIAA’s Allen B. Stowe Award for Sportsmanship. Voss, from Cincinnati, Ohio, played No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles for Hope, with an 8-9 singles record and an 8-12 doubles record. Becksvoort, from Holland, Michigan, played No. 5 singles and No. 1 doubles, finishing with a 15-7 singles record and a 15-10 doubles record.

Becksvoort has also advanced to the Academic All-America® ballot, with first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees set to be announced later this summer
