The Rams are pleased to announce that Safety John Johnson has re-signed with the team. After being a free agent for over a year, Johnson will return to the Rams for another season.

Johnson, 28, was originally drafted by the Rams in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He played four seasons with the team before moving to the Cleveland Browns for two seasons. Despite his time away from the team, Johnson returned to Los Angeles in 2023 and appeared in all 17 games, starting in eight of them.

While Johnson acknowledged that he may not have met expectations during his time with the Browns, he has proven to be a valuable member of the Rams during his stints with the team. With this new contract, he will have another opportunity to continue making an impact with the Rams as they look forward to another successful season.
