The 2024 IIHF World Championship is set to take place in Prague and Ostrava, Czechia from May 10-26. Jordan Binnington, Colton Parayko, and Joel Hofer have been selected by Hockey Canada to represent Team Canada at the tournament.

Jordan Binnington, a native of Richmond Hill, Ontario, will be making his second appearance for Team Canada. Last season, he played 55 games for the St. Louis Blues and finished with 28 wins and a .913 save percentage. Binnington was drafted by the Blues in the third round of the 2011 NHL Draft and has a career record of 145-94-31 with the team. He is ranked third on the franchise’s all-time wins list.

Colton Parayko, a native of St. Albert, Alberta, will be representing Team Canada for the third time. Last season, he played in all 82 regular-season games for the St. Louis Blues, tallying 10 goals and 26 points. Parayko was drafted by the Blues in the third round of the 2012 NHL Draft and has accumulated 259 points in 659 career regular-season games. He won a silver medal with Canada in the 2017 World Championship.

Joel Hofer from Winnipeg, Manitoba will also be making his third appearance for Team Canada at the tournament. In his rookie season with St Louis Blues he posted a record of (15-12-1) with impressive stats as a rookie goalie . Hofer was drafted by St Louis Blues in fourth round of NHL Draft in year( ) He won two gold medals with Canada including (The year when he won world junior championship) and (the year when he won world championship).
