Mill Creek High School linebacker Luke Metz recently visited the Georgia Bulldogs campus on an official visit over the weekend, shuffling his college football options. The highly touted four-star recruit from the class of 2025, currently plays for Mill Creek in Hoschton, Georgia and is considered a top prospect in the recruiting class.

Despite originally committing to Alabama in March 2024, Metz seems to be exploring his options by visiting other schools like Georgia. Ranked as the No. 289 recruit in the country, the No. 34 linebacker, and the No. 35 recruit in Georgia by 247Sports, Metz is considered a top prospect in the recruiting class.

Georgia recently extended a scholarship offer to Metz on May 17, 2024, further solidifying their interest in him as a potential addition to their program. With both Georgia and Alabama having top-ranked recruiting classes in the SEC, it’s clear that Metz is a sought-after recruit by these powerhouse programs in college football.

The Bulldogs have been particularly active in recruiting and have seen success in securing commitments from key targets. It will be interesting to see where Metz ultimately decides to play college football as he weighs his options and evaluates the opportunities presented by different programs.
