The 2024 Kansas high school softball playoffs have kicked off, with teams from 1A to 6A competing for the state title. Below are the scores and highlights of each game, and KSN Sports will be showing them at 10 PM.
In the 6A division, there were some thrilling matchups. Derby lost to Olathe South with a score of 6-8 in a close game. Lawrence Free-State fell to Haysville-Campus with a score of 1-11. Olathe Northwest defeated Blue Valley with a score of 9-4, while Washburn Rural dominated Blue Valley West with a score of 25-1.
Meanwhile, in the 5A division, Spring Hill triumphed over Great Bend with a score of 14-5. St. Thomas Aquinas defeated KC Piper with a final score of 7-5, Maize South edged out Topeka-Seaman with a score of 3-2, and Bishop Carroll fell to Basehor-Linwood with an overwhelming score of 8-24.
