The HGSS Samobor team arrived at the scene of a plane crash in Stupni’ki Obrezac, Micani Street, at 5:18 p.m. They were accompanied by police officers, DVD Stupnik firefighters, and emergency workers who were already present at the location where the aircraft had crashed.
HGSS student Pavelić Damir was among the first responders to arrive on the scene. He described the challenging search for the plane in the dense forest, as it had crashed through the treetops and was difficult to see from above. The plane was severely damaged and turned upside down. Fortunately, the victims suffered only minor injuries, but they did suffer trauma and shock. The injured were transported to hospitals, while efforts continued to recover the body of the deceased.
Teams from HGSS Samobor, Zagreb, and Karlovac quickly mobilized to assist at the scene of the crash. They worked alongside emergency medical aid workers in triaging the injured, providing first aid, and preparing them for transport.
