On Sunday (23), Hezbollah, the Lebanese terrorist group, launched attacks using explosive drones in northern Israel. One of the attacks resulted in a serious injury to an IDF soldier. In addition to the assault from Lebanon, the Israeli Army also claimed to have intercepted an unmanned drone that was heading towards the country from Iraq.

The initial incident involved a drone carrying explosives that was launched from Lebanon and hit an area near the Beit Hillel community in northern Israel. Hezbollah took responsibility for the airstrike, stating that the target was an Israeli military base located next to the community.

Later on Sunday, another drone believed to have been launched by Hezbollah was shot down over the Lower Galilee region, near a sensitive defense installation. The drone infiltration alarms did not go off as per established protocols despite entering Israeli airspace from Lebanon.

On Saturday (22), Israeli military forces launched fighter jets in southern Lebanon, targeting a building and an observation post used by Hezbollah in Kafr Kila. Another attack aimed at a group of Hezbollah terrorist operatives in Taybeh was also reported by the military.
