As the season comes to an end, Hearts is saying goodbye to several key players. Among them is Katie Lockwood, who was named the club’s player of the year for her outstanding performance in Eva Olid’s team. Lockwood finished as the top scorer, and her contributions were instrumental in the team’s success.

Ciara Grant and Kathleen McGovern are also leaving Hearts after playing important roles in the team’s achievements. The club praised their contributions to the team’s improved performances and progression over the last two years.

Aimee Anderson, Shona Cowan, Eilidh Davies, Jenna Penman, Cailin Michie, Danni Findlay, and Erin Rennie are also leaving Hearts this summer. Additionally, Megan Bell will be returning to parent club Rangers following a loan spell. Coach Olid expressed gratitude towards all of the departing players for their contributions to the club’s history.

Manager Olid highlighted the achievements made by these players during their time at Hearts. They secured back-to-back fourth-placed finishes and reached the first Scottish Cup final. The team recorded its first victory over a top-three side in two years thanks to these players’ hard work and dedication. The manager wished all of them well for their future endeavors as they move on from Hearts this summer.
