Maureen Roland, director of the Banner Poison and Drug Information Center in Phoenix, emphasized the importance of exercising extreme caution when using these products due to their potentially severe effects. Health care professionals are being urged to report any cases involving these mushroom-infused products by calling 1-800-222-1222.
