UNC Health employees can now access Headspace, a popular wellness app, for free through a partnership highlighted in the TarHeal Wellness podcast. This collaboration provides evidence-based meditation and mindfulness tools, mental health coaching, therapy, psychiatry, and family support to healthcare providers. In two podcast episodes, Dr. Robert Rowe, MD, MBA, MPH discusses the partnership with representatives from Headspace and delves into the various resources offered by the app.

In the first episode of the podcast, Robert speaks with Rachel Schenkemeyer, a Strategic Client Account Executive at Headspace. They discuss what Headspace is and how it came about as part of the UNC Health partnership. The episode covers how healthcare workers are utilizing Headspace and offers guidance on getting started with the app.
