Rochester’s Department of Information Technology has appointed Harriet T. Fisher as its new Chief Technology Officer. Fisher, who previously held the position of Director of the Project Management Office, will be taking over from William Boudreaux, who is leaving the city to pursue a new opportunity out of state.

Fisher has been a dedicated member of the IT Department and a City employee since 1998. Her appointment is set to take effect on June 1st, and she looks forward to engaging with young people and encouraging them to explore opportunities within the IT field.

Mayor Evans expressed his gratitude towards Boudreaux for his leadership and years of service in implementing new technology systems and infrastructure. He wished him the best in his future endeavors and expressed his excitement in welcoming Fisher as the new Chief Technology Officer.

Fisher brings with her more than 25 years of experience as an IT professional and leader within the Department, making her a valuable asset to the City’s technology systems. She acknowledges the mentorship she received from leaders within the Rochester community and is grateful for this opportunity to step into this significant role.
