In a shocking announcement, Ham’N Goodys, the renowned East Tennessee bakery and café known for their delectable lemon cookies, has revealed the closure of two of its locations at the end of June due to low business. The affected stores are located at 5541 Clinton Highway and 739 Dolly Parton Parkway in Sevierville.

This news was shared on social media by the company on Tuesday, leaving customers heartbroken. However, there is some good news – Ham’N Goodys still has three stores that will remain open. These are situated at 314 S Northshore Drive, 1049 N Cedar Bluff Road, and 507 S Gay Street.

The Sevierville store, which opened in January 2023, was the first Ham’N Goodys location outside of Knox County. Meanwhile, the Clinton store opened its doors in April 2023. Ham’N Goodys initially started its journey in 1978 with the opening of its original store on Northshore Drive, building a strong presence in the community ever since. Despite this setback, customers can continue to enjoy their favorite treats at the remaining open locations where the tradition of bringing people together through delicious treats continues.
