X, formerly known as Twitter, has recently launched an updated version of its chatbot called Grok-1.5. This AI model is specifically designed to excel in coding and mathematics tasks, and has been expanded to include all Premium subscribers following its initial launch to Premium+ users last year.

During performance tests, Grok-1.5 demonstrated exceptional skills in both math and coding benchmark tests, achieving a 50.6 percent score in a comparative math test and a 90 percent score in GSM8K. The company stated that these tests covered a wide range of competency problems from elementary school to high school levels.

One of the key improvements in the new iteration of the chatbot is its increased ability to process long contexts of up to 128,000 tokens within its context window. This allows the chatbot to have an expanded memory capacity, enabling it to use information from substantially longer documents.

Grok-1.5 will be made available to some users next week, with the aim of receiving feedback to further improve the tool. In addition, X plans to introduce several new features in the coming days as it reaches a broader audience.

Overall, the new version of X’s chatbot, Grok-1.5, is designed to enhance its abilities in coding and mathematics tasks with improved reasoning capabilities and an increased memory capacity for processing longer contexts. Users can expect new features and updates to be introduced in the near future as X continues to refine the chatbot.
