The Bronx Economic Development Corporation recently announced the winners of their inaugural BX Factor Small Business Challenge, awarding money to five businesses. One of the winners, Green Canvas Productions, was especially grateful for the support. Owner Gregory Hernandez expressed how difficult it can be to develop the necessary capital and cash flow to prove the viability of a business.

Out of over 100 participants, Green Canvas Productions was selected as one of the five finalists to receive funding from the Bronx EDC. This support will enable the company to continue growing and expanding their services. The funding will help them to establish a new studio in Port Morris, which will be available for renting out for various purposes such as photo shoots, commercials, music videos, and more.

The studio is set to open on July 1, providing a space for local artists and businesses to showcase their work. This opportunity will not only benefit Green Canvas Productions but also contribute to the economic development of the Bronx community as a whole. The BX Factor Small Business Challenge has proven to be a valuable resource for emerging businesses like Green Canvas Productions, providing them with the support they need to succeed and thrive in the local economy.
