Gray Stone Day School, located in Misenheimer, North Carolina, has been recognized as one of the top high schools in the country by U.S. News & World Report. The school ranked 801st nationally and 28th in the state for their 2024 Best High Schools rankings. With a score of 95.46 out of 100, Gray Stone had impressive statistics such as 93% of students taking at least one AP exam, 61% passing at least one AP exam, and high percentages of math, reading, and science proficiency. Additionally, the school boasts a 93% graduation rate.

Out of nearly 25,000 public high schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, Gray Stone ranked in the top 4%. It was also ninth highest among charter schools in North Carolina. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both students and staff at the school who are committed to providing a strong education that prepares students for success in the future.

In previous years, Gray Stone was ranked higher than this year but still within the top tier.
