Pete Marston, the Grand Island Town Supervisor, is on the hunt for the person responsible for vandalizing his business sign. The incident took place sometime on Thursday night and Marston believes he was targeted due to his position as an elected supervisor. Despite being politically affiliated, Marston prioritizes Grand Island’s needs above all else, although not everyone agrees with his approach.

The message “Drain the Swamp” was spray-painted on his sign, which he finds ironic as he is a Republican. Marston spent hours cleaning up the vandalism and expressed his frustration over the incident. He highlighted the growing problem of political aggression in the community. In response to the vandalism, Marston is offering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of the perpetrator(s). The Grand Island Police and the Erie County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating the incident.
