A Shelby County Chancery Judge sided with Keough and blocked the sale, prompting Naussany to drop their foreclosure efforts.
The Tennessee Attorney General’s office had raised concerns about possible fraud related to the case and had launched an investigation. However, they have now turned over their findings to federal investigators who will handle it accordingly. The Department of Justice has not yet commented on this matter.
