On January 22, 2023, fans gathered outside Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee to pay their respects at the memorial for Lisa Marie Presley. Meanwhile, the investigation into the failed foreclosure attempt of Elvis Presley’s Graceland estate has been handed over to federal investigators by the Tennessee Attorney General’s office.

The lawsuit filed by actress Riley Keough against Naussany Investments in May claimed that they held the deed to the Graceland property and accused Lisa Marie Presley of using it as collateral for a $3.8 million loan that she failed to repay. Keough alleged fraud and filed a lawsuit to prevent the estate from being foreclosed on. A Shelby County Chancery Judge sided with Keough and blocked the sale, prompting Naussany to drop their foreclosure efforts.

The Tennessee Attorney General’s office had raised concerns about possible fraud related to the case and had launched an investigation. However, they have now turned over their findings to federal investigators who will handle it accordingly. The Department of Justice has not yet commented on this matter.

Fans continue to gather at Graceland, paying tribute to Lisa Marie Presley as they wait for further news about her estate and its ownership disputes.
