New York-based technology firm Merkle Science has recently partnered with Carahsoft Technology to become the public sector distributor for its crypto crime tracking and investigation tool. Under this new agreement, Carahsoft will offer Merkle Science’s Tracker platform to government agencies, providing them with real-time tracking and tracing of cryptocurrency transactions.
Merkle Science’s Tracker platform is designed to handle a variety of cryptocurrency-related crimes, including decentralized finance, smart contract crimes, chain hopping, and expedite investigations. Steve Jacyna, director of emerging cybersecurity at Carahsoft, emphasized the importance of combating criminal cryptocurrency activity, citing it as a significant threat to national security and financial stability.
By utilizing Merkle Science’s advanced insights, attribution, and coverage of Ethereum virtual machine chains, government agencies will have the tools they need to tackle even the most complex cases. Federal agencies can access this service through Carahsoft’s reseller partners, such as NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V, Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software 2, and National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint contracts.
