Ben Warian finished his college career by placing T-25th at the NCAA Golf Championships and received Ping All-Region honors. The Gopher women secured eight spots at the upcoming NCAA Track & Field Championships, with Shelby Frank winning first place in the hammer throw at the NCAA West Regional.
Three Gopher men, including Angelos Mantzouranis, qualified for the NCAA Championships, with Mantzouranis taking home gold in the hammer throw at the NCAA West Regional. The Gopher men and women have six freshmen qualifiers, which is currently tied for the most in the nation. Isabella McCauley, a sophomore, earned WGCA All-American honorable mention honors for the second consecutive year at the NCAA Golf Championships.
Reigning Big Ten Player of the Year Jess Oakland added two second-team All-American honors to her resume. Softball players Maddy Ehlke, Sydney Strelow, Jess Oakland, Taylor Krapf, and Morgan DeBord earned CSC Academic All-District honors. Women’s Hockey announced its schedule for next season, starting with a road game against Connecticut in October. Men’s Hockey revealed its non-conference schedule for next season, featuring a series against Air Force in Las Vegas in November.
