Three Zags from the Gonzaga men’s tennis team, Leon Roider, Sasha Trkulja, and Matthew Hollingworth, have been named to the 2023-24 CSC Academic All-District Men’s Tennis Team. This prestigious honor is selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizing the nation’s top student-athletes for their exceptional performances both on the court and in the classroom.

The CSC Academic All-America® program acknowledges honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees have the opportunity to advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The first, second, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees are set to be announced on June 4th for women and June 5th for men.

These outstanding student-athletes like Matthew Hollingworth, Leon Roider, and Sasha Trkulja embody the values of hard work, dedication, and academic achievement. They have demonstrated excellence both on and off the court. Their achievements not only represent their individual success but also that of their teammates and coaches at Gonzaga University.
