In the second round of the Soudal Open in Belgium, European Tour pro Louis de Jager found himself in a tricky situation on the 13th hole. After narrowly avoiding a pond with his tee shot, de Jager’s ball landed in a marshy pit, forcing him to think outside the box to save par.

Feeling confident in his abilities, de Jager took off his shirt and undid his belt without any hesitation. One broadcaster remarked on the unusual approach while another questioned if it was necessary. Despite the unconventional approach, de Jager managed to get out of the mud with his second shot but would ultimately bogey the hole, finishing the day 2-under par and T23. On the positive side, he walked away with a clean shirt.

The unique approach certainly caught the attention of spectators and added an interesting twist to the event. Meanwhile, Spain’s Nacho Elvira leads the leaderboard after two rounds, just one stroke ahead of Ross Fisher. With only one more round remaining before crowning a winner, anything can happen on this exciting golf tournament!
