In Game 1, Al Horford played a key role for the Celtics, starting the game and contributing 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in 30 minutes of play. On the other hand, Kristaps Porzingis came off the bench for the Mavericks in his long-awaited return to the court.
Despite not playing a major role in Game 1’s outcome, Svi Mykhailiuk saw some playing time and scored two points in garbage time. This shows that former Thunder players are still making an impact on both teams as they showcase their talent on sports’ biggest stage.
