Miami will be the site of the 2026 World Baseball Classic championship game, marking the end of a tournament that will also be played in Houston, Tokyo, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. LoanDepot Park will once again be a site for all three rounds of the tournament, including the semifinals and final.

In 2023, loanDepot Park hosted games in all three phases of the WBC, attracting more than 470,000 fans in total. Japan secured the title by defeating the United States 3-2 in the championship game at loanDepot Park. This marked a record-breaking event for loanDepot Park and solidified its reputation as the home of international baseball. Marlins owner Bruce Sherman expressed pride in bringing the tournament back to South Florida, calling it a go-to destination for global events.

The sixth edition of the WBC will feature games at Minute Maid Park in Houston and Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan. Houston will host WBC games for the first time, while Hiram Bithorn Stadium will host for the first time since 2013. Tokyo has a history of hosting pools in all previous World Baseball Classic events. Major League Baseball recently announced that Miami would host the championship game in 2026.
