General parking, as well as rideshare pick-up and drop-off, will be located at the Coliseum parking lots. Several roads surrounding Eisenhower Park will be shut down early Saturday morning, such as Merrick Avenue, Park Boulevard, Charles Lindbergh Boulevard, and Park Boulevard. Fans are eager to secure last-minute tickets in hopes of making their dreams of attending the matches come true.
Bankaj Dudd from Hicksville expressed his excitement about the upcoming event. “It’s like my dream,” he said. “We are looking to buy tickets for the match and try to meet with the players if we can.” However, the closures not only impact areas near Eisenhower Park but also Cantiague Park in Hicksville. Cantiague Park will be closed throughout the World Cup as teams practice there before competing on the pitch at the stadium.
