Greetings, adventurers! New World Update 5.0.3 downtime is scheduled to begin at 11:00 p.m. PT (6:00 a.m. UTC) on June 25 and will last for approximately 1.5 hours. During the Summer Medleyfaire event, players can participate in various activities such as playing musical instruments and dancing to earn event-specific rewards.
The Summer Medleyfaire event will take place from June 25 to July 23 and will feature Musical Instruments and Fishing as its main attractions. Players can engage in seasonal activities, whether they are visiting a Summer Village for the first time or have already earned a high reputation with the Medleyfaire Maestro. New seasonal items like the Maudlinbug Jar Emote and returning rewards such as the Long Swordfish Longsword Skin will be available during the event period. Additionally, players can decorate their homes with their favorite fish at Mount-A-Catch stations located throughout the game world.
Several notable fixes have been implemented in this update, including solving a rare issue that prevented object interactions until the inventory or storage shed was opened after leaving the Stylemancer menu, and fixing a problem that caused players to stop moving when walking on ledges while performing an upper body action.
Trade skills have also been adjusted in this update, with Music Research Projects receiving a significant increase in XP values to make them more useful for those interested in pursuing music careers.
Combat-related issues like the Hatchet attacking too quickly and dodges draining more stamina than intended have also been addressed to ensure fair competition among players.
