Four-star safety prospect Lagonza Hayward has announced his commitment date for August 7th. He has narrowed down his recruitment process to Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, South Carolina, Georgia, and USC.

Hayward will be making four official visits in June to each of the finalists. His first visit will be to Georgia on May 31st. He will then visit USC on June 7th, followed by Florida and Tennessee on June 14th and 21st, respectively. Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 200 pounds, Hayward is a talented athlete hailing from Toombs County High School in Lyons, Georgia.

According to 247Sports, Hayward is ranked as the No. 95 overall prospect in the class of 2025. He is also listed as the No. 10 safety and the No. 12 player in Georgia. As for the Vols, they currently have ten commitments in their class of 2025 recruiting efforts. These include players like quarterback George MacIntyre, defensive lineman Ethan Utley, and wide receiver Radarious Jackson.
