In 2024, the SEC announced the schedule for Georgia football season and revealed that the Bulldogs will not have any noon games during conference play. This news brought relief to Georgia fans, as their season opener against Clemson had been scheduled for noon. Instead of a noon game, Georgia will host UMass on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 12:45 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on the SEC Network.

The scheduling of an early game is seen as a positive for Georgia, allowing the team extra time to prepare for their upcoming matchups, including the game against Georgia Tech. Additionally, fans can enjoy the game in potentially favorable weather conditions.

Although Georgia faces a tough schedule this season, UMass is expected to be one of the easier opponents on the Bulldogs’ schedule. The team will wrap up the season with three consecutive home games, including matchups against Tennessee and Georgia Tech following the UMass game.

After playing UMass, Georgia will have a short week to prepare for a Black Friday game against Georgia Tech, which will be televised on ABC and ESPN as part of the SEC’s new media rights deal. This scheduling update provides Georgia fans with a clear picture of what to expect for the remainder of the 2024 college football season.

Overall, this announcement marks an exciting time for Georgia football fans as they eagerly await their team’s upcoming matchups and look forward to seeing them compete at home in front of their own supporters.
