Genpact has announced the promotions of two of its key executives. Vidya Rao, who was previously the chief information officer at the company, has been promoted to the role of chief technology and transformation officer. In her new position, she will be responsible for establishing a robust data office to enhance Genpact’s data capabilities, as reported in the media.

Vipin Gairola has also been appointed as the global operating officer at Genpact. His new responsibilities will include overseeing global client operations, analytics, data, and technology initiatives.

Rao’s career began at Blue Chip Computer Consultants and has included positions at Infosys, Wipro, Cambridge Technology Partners, and Accenture. She also served as a board member at Micro Focus. With her extensive experience in technology and operations, Rao is well-suited to lead Genpact’s transformation efforts.

Gairola brings more than 20 years of experience in global operations and consulting to his new role. He previously served as a managing director at Deloitte Consulting and has held leadership positions at several other major consulting firms. His expertise in managing complex projects and driving growth will be valuable assets to Genpact as it continues to expand its business globally.
