Tonia Linda, a 40-year-old entrepreneur, has been the owner of Furbabies Grooming for seven years as of April. Located at 1116 S. Saginaw Road in Midland, her business is just next to Little Caesar’s Pizza and Cartridge World. Furbabies Grooming specializes in grooming services for dogs and cats, as well as nail clipping for rabbits and guinea pigs. But what sets them apart from other grooming businesses is their mobile van that can travel to pet owners’ homes within a 30-mile radius.

Tonia grew up in Crump and graduated from Pinconning High School before earning her bachelor’s degree with a triple major in equine studies, equine business management, and small business entrepreneur from Findlay University in Ohio. She currently resides in Midland with her Pit Bull Darla and two horses, Seven and Ima.

What Tonia loves most about owning Furbabies Grooming is that it allows her to do what she loves while also helping out pets in her own way, with a focus on safety and professionalism. She believes Midland is the perfect place to own a business due to its supportive community. In fact, Furbabies Grooming is actively involved in the local community by donating to the Humane Society, sponsoring events and raffles, grooming rescues, supporting local sports teams and churches.

In her free time, Tonia enjoys riding horses and training them outdoors through camping and hiking trips. She also enjoys attending concerts and playing sports like basketball or soccer with friends or family members. When it comes to running her business successfully, she works closely with her team of six employees including accountant Fabiola Litherland of Litherland Accounting, social media manager Amaya Berreles of Power Move Media Group, K9 Ops for dog training referrals among others who support Furbabies Grooming wholeheartedly
