Jeff Brohm, the head coach of the Louisville football program, exceeded expectations in his first year with a 10-4 overall record and a 7-1 mark in ACC play. Despite losing three games in the final stretch, his impact on the team was clear.

CBS Sports recognized Brohm’s coaching abilities by jumping him up to No. 19 in their annual rankings of Power Four coaches. Tom Fornelli praised Brohm’s consistency across multiple coaching positions and highlighted his success at Purdue and Louisville.

Brohm is ranked as the fourth-best coach in the ACC behind Dabo Swinney of Clemson, Mike Norvell of FSU, and Dave Doeren of NC State. With key returning players like Ashton Gillotte and Quincy Riley, as well as a highly-rated transfer portal class, Louisville is set for another successful season in 2023.
